MONOCEROS handmade horn eyewear is crafted from one of the oldest materials used to make eyewear. New approaches and innovations allow us to create a frame from a single piece of buffalo horn. This ensures that the fiber, color and structure of the horn are consistent throughout the whole frame. By using a wooden hinge, we can keep our frames completely free of metal and plastic. The patented glazing system, which is ideal for horn frames is an additional highlight.

And something that at first seemed beyond reach – like reaching for the stars - is the source of inspiration for MONOCEROS: for this frame the natural horn material is bent with specially developed technology around the end of the frame front. This means each frame is made with a single piece of horn from temple tip to temple tip.  The refined, elaborate lines give the horn glasses different effects like thicknesses and finished details.
